More than a club

Our story began with three founders, Rick , Thijs and Groundsy. After Rick and Groundsy parted ways with another club in the city, frustrated by a lack of true rugby values, they set out with a clear ambition: to build something different.

A club grounded in the spirit of the game. A place where culture mattered as much as competition. And a brotherhood built to compete, connect, and create a home for others in Barcelona.

But to turn that vision into something real, they needed a linchpin—someone who was an expert in the game, had a deep understanding of the Catalan rugby landscape, and the ability to make things happen. That person was Thijs, who brought the network, local knowledge, and belief needed to turn the idea into reality.

That vision took shape in 2023 on a pitch in El Carmel.

Today, the club fields over 50 players across A and B teams—and has a Quarta Catalunya championship trophy to show for it.

We are united by a hunger to win, the values of the game, and a team spirit that brings together players from all over the world. We’re not here for half-measures. We train hard. We show up. We play for each other.

And we leave it all on the pitch. For the club. For the badge. And for the pride we’ve built.
